Lorena’s Links Invitational @ Victoria Club
Dec 14 all-day

LLI INVThe Lorena’s Links Invitational is always a fun day of golf and fundraising but the 2015 event will be extra special.  We are presenting the first ever Jorge Gamboa Amigo Award.  This award is presented by the Lorena Ochoa Golf Foundation to an individual or organization exemplifying the meaning a true amigo. Inspired by a man who has dedicated his life to sharing happiness, helping others and providing positive experiences to everyone he touches. The Jorge Gamboa Amigo Award is an example of excellence, goodwill and a positive community impact.

Like always the golf tournament will include wonderful food, drinks (TEQUILA!), mariachis, free door prizes, auctions, DJ’s, and dancing.  Plus this year participants get to play golf at the private and historic Victoria Club.  In addition to all of that we are going to honor a special group of friends with the Jorge Gamboa Amigo Award.  The Amigos are:

Jorge Gamboa Patron:  Namesake of the award, Jorge is the Director of the Los Angeles Office of the Mexico Tourism Board and couldn’t be better suited for his job as an ambassador. He has a gift for bringing people together and spreading joy everywhere he goes, Jorge is the walking, talking and singing epitome of an amigo. He has been our amigo from the beginning and continues to help further the mission of the Lorena Ochoa Golf Foundation
